Message text: Coverage check not possible; too many values defined for column '&1'
For the current decision table, the system has tried to carry out a
business transaction coverage check. With this type of check, the system
verifies whether all possible combinations of domain values that are
defined for the data objects in the condition columns are covered by a
respective table row. However, this check is limited to data objects
with a relatively small number of domain values for performance reasons.
In the current decision table, this limit is exceeded by the domain
value list defined for column '&V1&'.
Note: This check is <ZH>not</> dealing with the number of rows in the
decision table.
The business coverage check cannot be performed.
If the result of the business coverage check is crucial for you, do one
of the following:
Try to reduce the number of entries in the domain value list defined for
the data object in column '&V1&'. For example, a data object bound to
the system table for country keys will always exceed the limit. But if
you only have to discriminate between five discrete countries, you might
limit the domain value list to these five countries.
If the domain value list cannot be reduced, you have to analyze the
table entries manually to make sure that all relevant combinations are
covered.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
