SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: FDT_CORE - Formula & Derivation Tool: Core

  • Message number: 425

  • Message text: &1 using customizing object &2 cannot be copied to system application &3

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You have tried to copy object &v1& with all referenced objects to
application &v2&. However, the system has determined that among the
referenced objects, there is a customizing object (&v2&) that cannot be
copied because the target application is a system application. Copying
the object would lead to objects with different storage types in one
application. This is not allowed in BRFplus.

    System Response

The system pauses the copy process and lets you decide how to proceed.

    How to fix this error?

Under the given circumstances, it is not possible to copy all objects to
the chosen target. However, you can still choose between the following
    alternatives:
Cancel the copy process: In this case, the system rolls back the entire
copy process. You should take a note which object caused the problem and
replace that object by an equivalent one with the correct storage type.
After that, you may repeat the copy process.
Continue the copy process: In this case, the system copies all objects
that have a correct storage type to the target application. Since not
all of the objects meet this prerequisite, the status of object &v1&
will be incomplete in the target system. It is then up to you to take
the necessary steps in the target system so that the object can be
    activated.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
