Message text: Component '&1' of DDIC structure &2 is missing
The current BRFplus structure data object is bound to structure &v2& in
the Data Dictionary (DDIC). However, for the DDIC structure component
&v1&, there is no corresponding component in the bound BRFplus
structure.
This situation can occur for a small number of special cases that are
handled individually by BRFplus. For example, if the DDIC structure
contains a client ID field that is not part of the structure key, this
field is dropped when the binding relationship is established.
This is just an information. There is no need to take any actions.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Component '&1' of DDIC structure &2 is missing ?The SAP error message FDT_CORE397 indicates that a component of a Data Dictionary (DDIC) structure is missing. This typically occurs in the context of using the SAP Fiori or SAP UI5 applications, where the system expects a certain structure to be defined in the Data Dictionary, but it cannot find one or more components.
Cause:
- Missing Component: The specified component of the DDIC structure is not defined in the Data Dictionary. This could be due to a missing field in a table or structure.
- Transport Issues: If the structure was recently transported from another system, the transport might not have included all necessary components.
- Development Errors: There may have been an error during the development phase where the component was not created or was deleted inadvertently.
- Version Mismatch: If there are different versions of the application or components in different environments (e.g., development, testing, production), this error can occur.
Solution:
- Check DDIC Structure: Go to transaction SE11 (Data Dictionary) and check the structure mentioned in the error message. Verify if the component is indeed missing.
- Recreate Missing Component: If the component is missing, you may need to create it again in the Data Dictionary.
- Transport Requests: If the structure was recently transported, check the transport requests to ensure that all necessary components were included. You may need to re-transport the missing components.
- Check for Modifications: If the structure has been modified, ensure that the changes are consistent across all environments.
- Debugging: If you have access to debugging tools, you can debug the application to see where the error is being triggered and gather more context about the missing component.
- Consult Documentation: Review any relevant documentation or notes from SAP regarding the specific structure and its components.
