  • What causes this issue?

The system has determined that for application &v1&, there is no
original language maintained to be assigned to newly created BRFplus
objects. This can lead to organizational problems in the translation
workflow and therefore must be corrected.
Language-dependent texts for BRFplus objects are stored in the following
    tables:
    FDT_ADMN_0101/S/T: Object texts
    FDT_ADMN_0114/S/T: Object documentation
    FDT_CTLG_0600/S/T: Catalog node names
For BRFplus objects created by SAP that are not classified as local,
language-dependent text table entries need to be assigned both to a
development package and an original language for translation purposes.
This assignment is done via entries in tables TABDIRDEVC and CUSDVCLANG.
Normally, these table entries are written automatically when a BRFplus
    object is created or changed.
In the following situations, however, the table entries in table
TABDIRDEVC need to be manually adjusted by executing report
    FDT_TABDIRDEVC_UPDATE:
A customizing transport is used for change recording.
There is no development package assigned to the application.
A new development package is assigned to the application.

    System Response

Depending on the current usage scenario, this error message is
classified differently with respect to its severity:
During application maintenance, a warning is shown in the UI.
During the release of a transport request, the 'before export'
processing is stopped with an error message. Additionally, a
production-relevant prio one message is shown in the Check Manager tool.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Make sure that a development package is assigned to the application and
that the application is active. Once you have made these assignments,
start report FDT_TABDIRDEVC_UPDATE for application &v1&.
Hint: In many use cases, you can avoid this error situation by observing
    the following recommendations:
Use workbench requests for change recording, even for BRFplus
    customizing objects.
Make sure that a development package is assigned to each application.
    Do not change this assignment.

    Procedure for System Administrators

By default, the original language in table CUSDVCLANG is derived from
the original language that is defined in table TADIR for the
corresponding development package. If needed, the original language in
table CUSDVCLANG can be changed for a particular package via transaction
    CUS_ORIGLANG.
