Message text: Couldn't convert the HANA view used by Info Object &1 into an HDI view.
To enable the Zero Downtime Option of SUM, the system tries to convert
HANA views used by Info Objects and InfoProviders into HDI views. This
only works if the Info Objects and InfoProviders use one of the content
HANA views from package &V3&.
Info Object &V1& doesn't use HANA view &V2& from package &V3&. It uses a
different view.
The system didn't convert the HANA view used by Info Object &V1& into an
HDI view.
Manually convert the HANA view into an HDI view (see SAP note 2610094 -
Enable Zero Downtime Option of SUM for SAP BPC for S/4 HANA).
Alternatively, if the HANA view is based on a content HANA view, you can
also revert the Info Object back to its content object. The content
object would still use the content HANA view, and the system then can
convert that content HANA view into an HDI view.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Couldn't convert the HANA view used by Info Object &1 into an HDI view. ?The SAP error message FCOM_PLANNING_CORE163 indicates that there is an issue with converting a HANA view used by an Info Object into an HDI (HANA Deployment Infrastructure) view. This error typically arises in the context of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP BW/4HANA when there are compatibility issues or configuration problems with the HANA views.
Causes:
- Incompatible HANA View: The HANA view may not be compatible with the HDI format. This can happen if the view uses features or constructs that are not supported in HDI.
- Missing Dependencies: The HANA view might depend on other objects (like tables or other views) that are not available or not properly defined in the HDI container.
- Incorrect Configuration: There may be configuration issues in the HDI container or the connection settings that prevent the conversion.
- Version Mismatch: The version of the HANA database or the tools being used may not support the required features for the conversion.
- Authorization Issues: The user executing the operation may not have the necessary permissions to access the HANA view or to create HDI views.
Solutions:
- Check HANA View Compatibility: Review the HANA view definition to ensure it does not use unsupported features. Simplify the view if necessary.
- Verify Dependencies: Ensure that all dependent objects (tables, views) are available and correctly defined in the HDI container.
- Review Configuration: Check the configuration settings for the HDI container and ensure that the connection to the HANA database is correctly set up.
- Update Tools and Database: Ensure that you are using compatible versions of SAP HANA and any related tools. Update them if necessary.
- Check Authorizations: Verify that the user has the necessary permissions to access the HANA view and create HDI views. Adjust roles and authorizations as needed.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to the SAP documentation for any specific requirements or limitations regarding HANA views and HDI views.
