Message number: 085
Message text: Postings cannot be made directly to ledger group &1
Postings cannot be made directly to ledgers with more than 16 posting
periods (such as day ledgers or week ledgers).
The system cannot correct the balances in ledger &V1&.
You can set this message to be issued as a warning message.
Consequently, the balance is not transferred, but the object is neverthe
less considered successfully reorganized.
<ZH>Note</>
Balances in ledgers to which postings cannot be made directly are only
transferred when you have transferred them using a different ledger
group. This alternative ledger group needs to contain the representative
ledger and the ledger to which postings cannot be made directly.
Furthermore, message FAGL_REORGANIZATION 072 must also be set as a
warning message.
You must first ensure that, with this posting, the balances actually
need to be corrected in the same way in all affected ledgers.
<ZH>Example </>
Ledger T1 is a day ledger; consequently, postings cannot be made
directly to this ledger. Ledger L1 contains balances that need to be
corrected. Ledger group L1 contains ledgers L1 and T1. If message
FAGL_REORGANIZATION 072 is issued as a warning message only, postings
are made to ledger group L1, and the balances in ledgers L1 and T1 are
corrected.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
