SAP Error Message - Details

  • What causes this issue?

Ledger group &V1& that you have entered does not contain the leading
ledger. This can make it difficult to reconcile Controlling and
Financial Accounting if the valuations performed in the leading ledger
differ from those in the ledgers of ledger group &V1&.

    How can this happen?

You use two ledgers and have activated the scenario <ZK>Profit Center
Accounting</>. Due to different valuation approaches (such as different
procedures for the depreciation of assets), the ledgers contain
different balances for the same profit center:
In the non-leading ledger, the balance of profit center A is USD 4000.
In the leading ledger, the balance of profit center A is USD 1000.
In Controlling, the balance of profit center A is USD 1000 because
Controlling is updated from the leading ledger.
Cost center assessment is now performed in Controlling, whereby the cost
centers of profit center A credit the cost centers of profit center B
completely, that is, with the amount USD 1000.
When this assessment is posted via the real-time integration between CO
and FI to the non-leading ledger, this produces the following result for
    profit center A:
In the non-leading ledger, the balance of profit center A is USD 3000.
In the leading ledger, the balance of profit center A is now USD 1000.
In Controlling, the balance of profit center A is now USD 0.
    <ZH>Result</>
Although the real-time integration between CO and FI is active, the
profit center balances in Controlling still differ from those in the
leading ledger after cost center assessment.
