What causes this issue?

You have activated the distribution scenario <LS>FI-GL, Transfer of
Totals and Single Documents in Distributed Systems</>.
However, whereas the ALE connection is only set up for the older
document splitting scenarios, the ALE connection for the distribution
scenario <LS>FI-GL, Transfer of Totals and Single Documents in
Distributed Systems</> has not been set up.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If you want to use the distribution scenario <LS>FI-GL, Transfer of
Totals and Single Documents in Distributed Systems</>, create the ALE
connection for it. (You do this using the transactions <LS>Distribution
Model</> (<AB>BD64</>) and <LS>Partner Agreements</> (<AB>WE20</>).)
Otherwise, you need to deactivate the distribution scenario.
