Message text: &1 values in depreciation area &2 have changed for fiscal year &3 in &4
Depreciation terms were changed in depreciation area &V2& since the last
time depreciation was recalculated. The values for &V1& that were saved
in the database in fiscal year &V3& in &V4& are therefore different from
the newly calculated values.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
You can either recalculate the values or keep the existing values:
Check if the newly calculated values are correct by executing a
simulated depreciation recalculation. If they are, then carry out a
depreciation recalculation in an update run. You should be aware that if
you recalculate depreciation, new values could arise for all open fiscal
years, and these would then have to be posted to the general ledger by
means of a depreciation posting run.
You can schedule a job in the <LS>Schedule Asset Accounting Jobs</> app
using the template <LS>Recalculate Depreciation</>.
You can use the action <LS>Recalculate Depreciation</> in the asset
master record maintenance or the Recalculate Values function in the
Asset Accounting menu to execute a recalculation for this asset.
If, on the other hand, you want to keep the values that are saved in the
database, you have to set the depreciation terms back to how they were
at the time of the last depreciation recalculation.
