    It was apparent from the SAP release that the defined variants for the
    line structure have an obsolete release status. You have to reactivate
    these variants in order that any possible changes to the framework data
    during release changeover also take effect in the variants which
    comprise this framework data.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    The defined variants are automatically reactivated. This may take some
    time.
