    What causes this issue?

The system has determined the authorized areas (nodes) for the
characteristic &v1& and the hierarchy &v2& (&v3&,&v4&). It also
determined that you do not have authorization for any of these areas.

If this situation was determined while a variable was being filled, the
query cannot be executed or the hierarchy is not displayed.

This typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP BI (Business Intelligence) when users attempt to access data or reports that require specific authorizations.

    Solution:

To resolve the EYE019 error, you can take the following steps:

    1. Check User Authorizations:

      • Review the user's roles and authorizations in transaction PFCG to ensure they have the necessary access to the characteristic and hierarchy.
    2. Modify Roles:

      • If the user lacks the required authorizations, you may need to modify their roles or create a new role that includes the necessary authorizations for the characteristic and hierarchy.
      • Ensure that the role includes the relevant authorization objects, such as S_RS_COMP for reporting and S_BI_WA for BW authorizations.
    3. Hierarchy Settings:

      • Check the hierarchy settings in the InfoObject maintenance (transaction RSD1) to ensure that the hierarchy is correctly defined and that the user is assigned to the appropriate authorization groups.
    4. Testing:
