Message text: Start date for point of delivery ID differs from key date &1
Every installation is allocated a point of delivery. This allocation
has a validity period.
The point of delivery has a point of delivery ID for every point in
time. This allocation also has a validity period that begins on the
start date of the point of delivery ID.
Depending on the processing mode, the key date is used as follows:
Create installation
The key date is used as the validity period start date for the
allocation of the installation and the point of delivery.
Change installation:
The key date is used as the selection date for the installation data to
be changed, the installation point of delivery, and its point of
delivery ID.
In both cases, if the point of delivery ID start date is different, you
may not be able to find an installation for the ID in future processes.
This is because the validity periods for the point of delivery ID and
the allocation of the installation are not covered.
The start date for the point of delivery ID begins on the start date.
You have the following options:
Ignore the warning if you want to influence the validity periods.
Choose the key date as the start date for the point of delivery ID.
Leave the transaction and reenter the initial screen using a different
key date.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
