  • What causes this issue?

The process of relocating any Enterprise Search to the Enterprise Search
hub consists of the following steps:
01: Connect back-end system to ES hub.
02: Create reverse connection in back-end system.
03: Lock template modeler in back-end system.
    04: Determine relocation scope.
05: Read template data from back-end system.
    06: Map software component keys.
07: Write template data in ES hub.
08: Assign back-end system to software components.
09: Read connector data from back-end system.
10: Suspend extraction in back-end system.
11: Export TREX index content from back-end system.
    12: Adapt connector data.
13: Create connectors in ES hub.
14: Import TREX index content to ES hub.
15: Replicate connector runtime buffer to back-end systems.
16: Register software components for delegation to ES hub.
17: Delete connectors in back-end system.
Depending on the selected function, only a subset of the steps is
executed (for example, only the connection or the model update). After
each write step, the data is saved. If the process is started again, it
recognizes which tasks have already fulfilled and skips them; for
example, if the model data is up-to-date, it is not transferred again if
    the relocation process is restarted.
The process may take some time. Wait for the final message in the log:
    Either success or process termination.
The process log is stored and can be accessed afterwards in transaction
SLG1, using object ES and subobject INTEGRATION as the filter criteria.
Before you can create connectors for a back-end system in the Enterprise
Search hub, the relocation process for that back-end system has to be
    completed.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
