  • What causes this issue?

Validation of privileges (user &v1&) not possible.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

If you want to use automic validation of privileges (user &v1&), the
user of the Enterprise Search connection needs SELECT privilege for each
    of the following tables (HANA):
    SYS.USERS (status:'&v2&')
    SYS.GRANTED_ROLES (status:'&v3&')
    SYS.GRANTED_PRIVILEGES (status:'&v4&')
Status = 'X' means, the user &v1& currently doesn't have SELECT
    privilege.

    Procedure for System Administrators

To maintain privileges, go to the HANA Studio. Make sure to be logged on
with a system user, as only a few users have sufficient authorizations
    to maintain HANA privileges.
