SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message number: 081

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The model &v2& of the connector that is just being checked (original
search connector) has the model &v1& as successor model.
It is therefore possible that this connector (the original one) will be
unavailable for search in the Fiori Search UI.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    System Response

If a connector for the successor model is available, active and
searchable, the search for the corresponding business object will be
executed on the successor model instead of the original one. In this
case the original connector is not offered any more for the search in
    the Fiori Search UI.
The original connector will be also unavailable for search in the Fiori
Search UI if the successor connector is active and searchable, but you
do not have the authorizations to access the successor. In this case you
can neither select the original nor the successor connector in the Fiori
    Search UI.
Other search applications, including the ESH Test Search report
(ESH_TEST_SEARCH), and all application searches via the public ESH
Search API, can use both search connectors, the original and the
successor. In these applications, the original connector will not be
    replaced by the successor.
