Message type: E = Error
Message class: EL - IS-U meter reading data processing
Message number: 206
Message text: Device &1, reg. &2, date &3: reading cannot be determined automatically
This is caused by one of the following:
The register has no rate category
Therefore no rate and no weighting key could be determined for the
extrapolation.
The register has no rate type
Therefore no rate and no weighting key could be determined for the
extrapolation.
There are insufficient meter reading results for the device for the
extrapolation to be representative.
In this case, the system required a period consumption. However no
period consumption was entered when the device was installed.
Extrapolation is terminated
If the register does not have a rate category or an installation
structure enter them in the contract or in the installation structure
to which the register belongs.
If there are insufficient meter reading results for extrapolation to be
representative, create a <DS:TRAN.EL56>period consumption</> for the
appropriate register.

- Time Frame Issues: The date specified may be outside the range of available readings or not aligned with the billing cycle.
Solution:
- Check Data Availability: Verify if the readings for the specified device and date exist in the system. You can do this by checking the relevant tables or transaction codes that store meter readings.
- Review Device Configuration: Ensure that the device and its registration are correctly configured in the system. Check for any missing or incorrect settings.
- Data Import Verification: If readings are imported from an external system, check the import logs for any errors or issues that may have occurred during the data transfer.
- Device Status Check: Confirm that the device is active and properly set up to allow for readings. If necessary, update the device status.
- Adjust Date Range: If the date specified is incorrect, adjust it to a valid date for which readings are available.
