  • What causes this issue?

    An IMDS node does not exist for material &v1&. An IMDS node is required
    if the contact person for the material does not belong to your
    organization.
    In this case, the Organization IMDS characteristic is set in the
    Contact Person property, but the contact person is assigned to an
    organization other than your organization. You can assign an
    organization (for example, a company) to the organization ID and specify
    it as your organization under transaction<LS> IMDS Company Data</>.

    The material is not IMDS compliant.

    How to fix this error?

    Define the required IMDS node.
    The IMDS Node ID is delivered by the IMDS system.
    For customer MDSs, create an MDS for the component in the Customer MDS
    Center and save it in IMDS.
    For supplier MDSs, create an MDS request for the component in the
    Supplier MDS Center, so the supplier can send you the MDS.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
