Message text: Highlighted AMI capabilities are available
The available AMI capabilities are highlighted in the ALV grid. AMI
capabilities are available if the advanced metering system (AMS), the
device (advanced meter capability group (AMCG)), and the activation
group for AMI capabilities (AMICAG) all have the AMI capability. If no
activation group for AMI capabilities is entered, the system only takes
the AMI capabilities that are available via the AMS and the AMCG into
account.
If a breaker is used which controls the advanced meter, the AMI
capabilities <ZK>Remote Disconnection and Remote Reconnection of Breaker
</> are passed on to the advanced meter. If the breaker also has an
activation group for AMI capabilities, this activation group restricts
the capabilities for <ZK>Remote Disconnection and Remote Reconnection</>
, if necessary, by passing them on to the advanced meter.
Processes such as remote meter reading, remote
disconnection/reconnection, and others, take the availability of the
appropriate AMI capability into account.
If the advanced metering system (AMS) and the device (advanced meter
capability group (AMCG)) have the same AMI capability, the line
containing the AMI capability is highlighted.
Consequently, this AMI capability is currently available.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
