  • What causes this issue?

    You have checked a deactivated DDIC object.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    It is possible that the system found an error when the object was
    checked. If the corresponding business function is activated, errors can
    occur that are caused by other dependent objects that are deactivated.
    No action is required.
    When the corresponding business function is activated, a consistent
    status is restored and the check is normally error-free after that.
    <ZH>You must not change the deactivated object</>, unless you wish to
    perform an advance correction and intend to activate the business
    function afterwards. Remember that deactivated DDIC objects cannot be
    activated.
