Message type: E = Error
Message class: DPR_BAPI - Messages for BAPIs in Project Management
Message number: 240
Message text: Object type &1 not active or not allowed
Object type &1 is not active.
In general, the BAPIs provided for creating object links can create only
object links that can also be created manually via the user interface
(UI). This is not the case for object links for the Accounting
Integration or for object links for objects in the SAP DMS, for example.
These are created automatically in the background by the system and they
use internal fields such as the category of the object type (CATEGORY).
These internally used fields cannot be changed via the UI and therefore
object links for object type &1 are not supported by the BAPI.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
