- If you prefer to use internal number assignment, you can change the configuration in the customizing settings.
- Go to transaction code SPRO and navigate to:
- Cross-Application Components > General Application Functions > Number Ranges > Define Number Ranges.
- Change the settings for the notification type you are working with to use internal number assignment.
- Check User Authorizations: Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to create notifications. This can be checked in transaction code SU53 after the error occurs.
