    Note the following rules when you insert nodes:
    An atom cannot have any subnodes. A level that contains an atom node can
    only contain other atom nodes.
    An element, a composite, or a technical node can only have a segment or
    a segment group as the next node on the same level if no elements,
    composites, or technical nodes come after this.
