  • What causes this issue?

To determine dangerous goods regulations, the SD document must contain
all countries and mode-of-transport categories. For this, you must enter
    a route.
If the route has no route stages, at least the shipping type of the main
leg (shipping type) must be entered in the route header.
If no dangerous goods regulations can be determined, no dangerous goods
checks can be performed, for example.

    System Response

The dangerous goods check is terminated.
Data in the dangerous goods document table cannot be edited in the SD
document even if template material processing is activated.
When the SD document is saved the incompleteness status is set,
preventing the document being processed further (for example, creating a
    delivery).

    How to fix this error?

Find out whether a route is specified in the current SD document.
If a route is entered, check whether the route has no route stages. If
this is the case, check whether shipping type of the main leg (shipping
type) is entered in the route header.
Routes are determined in Customizing for <ZK>Sales and Distribution</>
in the IMG activity <ZK>Define Routes and Stages</>. In this IMG
activity you can enter the shipping type of the main leg in the route
    header of the corresponding route.
