Message text: Result contains currency key figures in internal and external format
Transaction LISTCUBE is used to display the data for a MultiProvider.
Not all InfoProviders in the MultiProvider returned currency key figures
in the same format.
Currency key figures are saved in "internal format" by SAP systems; key
figure values are always stored with two decimal places, even if the
actual currency uses a different number of decimal places. However, it
is possible to define VirtualProviders that store and read data in
external format.
Using transaction LISTCUBE, data from InfoProviders that save currency
key figures in internal format is converted into "external format" by
the display tool when the data is directly displayed. This has the
advantage that currencies with more than two decimal places can be
displayed without any loss of information.
The results then contain data packages with currency key figures in
internal format and data packages with currency key figures in external
format. For this reason, the data can no longer be displayed by the
display tool.
The currency key figures are displayed by the data display without any
additional conversions.
If "Store in file (workstation)" or "Store in file (application server)"
are selected on the selection screen, the data is always stored in
external format, assuming the "Do not use any conversion" option was not
selected.
This can result in loss of information in currency key figures for
currencies than have more than two decimal places when the figures in
these decimal places are rounded off.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
