Message type: E = Error
Message class: DB6PM - DB2 UDB for UNIX, Windows: Performance Monitoring
Message number: 169
Message text: Unable to determine version of UDF library, see longtext for more details
The version of the currently installed UDF library could not be
determined.
Case 1: SQL0444N
Occurs if the UDF has not been installed correctly, i.e. the library is
not available in the displayed location.
Case 2: SQL0443N ... Permission denied...
The UDF libary has an obsolete version that does not support the option
to query its own version.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Case 1:
Check if the displayed path is correct. An empty path indicates that the
UDF must be located in the default path for UDF's, which is normally
<instance>/sqllib.
If the path is correct, check the existence of the library db6pmudf.dll
for Windows platforms and db6pmudf (without any extension!) for UNIX
platforms.
Case 2:
Download the latest patch of db6pmudf or db6pmudf.dll from the SAP
Service Marketplace at the Internet address
http://www.service.sap.com/swcenter-main.
