The configuration parameter DIAGLEVEL determines in what quantity
system errors, warnings and informationen with regard to the database
are logged.
Set the parameter in such a way, that on one hand the extra effort
caused by logging does not influence the system performance, but on the
other, that there is always enough information available if errors
occur.
If the parameter DIAGLEVEL is set in such a way that too extensive a
log is made during running operation, the system performance suffers.
Performance. In the opposite situation, finding errors if they occur is
made more difficult.
Correct the parameter using the command:
<LB>UPDATE DBM CFG USING DIAGLEVEL <Value> </>
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
