How To Fix DB11134 - Oracle alert log for filtered messages

SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: DB11 - Oracle Monitor: messages

  • Message number: 134

  • Message text: Oracle alert log for filtered messages

  • Show details Hide details
  • Node: Alert log: Filtered messages

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

This node reports Oracle alert log messages that have been filtered
from the complete alert log based on particular message content as
defined by the customer. Set up this filter in the parameters tab on
the method definition screen. The criticality of each message is
identified by the parameter name (REDMSG, YELLOWMSG, or GREENMSG). The
color of the node will also represent the criticality of the message.
For each parameter name, enter a value that is the string included in
the appropriate messages for each parameter. For example, for REDMSG,
the parameter value might be "ORA-" while for GREENMSG, the value might
be "ARC1". Each of these parameter names can be used more than once (up
to 9) to accommodate multiple parameter value strings.
The data collection tool that provides values for these nodes is
CCMS_ORA_alert_log_some_ct. The first time this tool runs, it retrieves
Oracle alert log messages that have a current timestamp. To retrieve
Oracle alert log messages that have some other timestamp, supply the
appropriate date value (YYYYMMDDHHMMSS) for the parameter
EVAL_SINCE_TIMESTAMP and then start the data collection method. Once
the data collection tool has run, remove the value you entered for the
    EVAL_SINCE_TIMESTAMP parameter.
