Message type: E = Error
Message class: CY - Capacity Requirements Planning
Message number: 171
Message text: No distribution key has been maintained for capacity category &
Since on the general options window you specified that distribution of
capacity requirements is not to be carried out from the work center
itself, but instead that the distribution key of the capacity planning
transaction is to be used, the system has now tried to find the
distribution key for this capacity category using an internal table.
However, it did not find a fitting key.
This is also the case if you have specified that the distribution key
from the work center is to be used, but none has been maintained there.
Therefore, the system again accessed the standard distribution key. If
it does not find any key here, an error message is the result.
From the general options window, you have to click on the function
"Standard distribution". In the next window, check that your capacity
categories have been entered together with the correct distribution
key.
