What causes this issue?

This class type is not allowed for variant configuration of
<DS:GLOS.standard_network>standard networks</>.
In Customizing for <ZH>Classification</>, you define whether a class
type can be used for variant configuration. The <ZH>Variant class
type</> indicator was not set for this class type.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

In the standard system, you can use class type 300 for configuring
standard networks.
To display the class types for an object type, choose <LS>Settings ->
Class types</> from the classification menu.
The dialog box for selecting a class type also contains these details.
