The SAP error message CU053 "No engineering change management; current date (&) used" typically occurs in the context of Engineering Change Management (ECM) within SAP. This error indicates that the system is unable to find a valid engineering change management record for the specified date, and as a result, it defaults to using the current date.

    Cause:

    1. Missing Change Management Record: The primary cause of this error is that there is no active engineering change management record for the material or object you are trying to work with on the specified date.
