Message type: E = Error
Message class: CTSPRJ - CTS: Projects
Message number: 089
Message text: Incorrect import order; see the long text
The request &V2& is entered as a predecessor of the released request
&V1&. You cannot remove this relationship because it has been released
and transported with request &V1&.
If you now delete the reverse relationship (which declares request &V2&
as a predecessor of request &V1&) you risk importing the older versions
of objects contained in both requests (versions released with request
&V1&) into the target system, and not the newest versions.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
If in doubt, make sure that both requests are imported together.

The SAP error message CTSPRJ089, which indicates "Incorrect import order; see the long text," typically arises during the import of transport requests in the SAP system. This error suggests that the transport requests are not being imported in the correct sequence, which can lead to inconsistencies or dependencies not being met.
Cause:
- Dependency Issues: The transport requests may have dependencies on other requests that have not yet been imported. For example, a request that contains a new program may depend on a previous request that contains a related configuration or data dictionary object.
- Incorrect Sequence: The transport requests are being imported in an order that does not respect the dependencies between them.
- Manual Import: If transport requests are imported manually, it is easy to overlook the correct order.
Solution:
- Check Dependencies: Review the transport requests and their dependencies. You can use transaction code

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
