Message text: Conflicting summation settings within step number &1
In the following segmentation step you are currently using criteria for
two (or more) key figures that have conflicting settings for summation:
Internal step number: &V1&
Segment GUID: &V2&
Segment ID: &V3&
All key figures used within one segmentation step must have the same
option selected in the <LS>Summation </>field, either <LS>As defined in

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

This error typically arises when the system encounters inconsistencies in how data is being aggregated or summarized during the execution of a segmentation process.

For example, one step may be set to sum data by a certain dimension while another step may be trying to sum it differently.
- Data Model Issues: There may be issues with the underlying data model or the way data is structured, leading to conflicts in how the system interprets the summation logic.
- Configuration Errors: Incorrect configuration in the marketing or segmentation settings can lead to this error. This could be due to manual errors during setup or changes in the data model that were not reflected in the segmentation settings.
Solution:
- Review Segmentation Steps: Go through the segmentation steps in the campaign and check the summation settings for each step. Ensure that they are consistent and compatible with each other.
- Adjust Settings: Modify the settings in the conflicting steps to ensure they align. This may involve changing how data is aggregated or ensuring that the same dimensions are used across steps.
- Check Data Model: Review the underlying data model to ensure that it supports the intended summation logic. Make any necessary adjustments to the data structure.
