  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The update function cannot be performed because there is no existing
allocation data saved to the database. The update function should only
be used if an allocation has been generated, saved, and released to
Mobile Sales. You should use it when actual quantities have started to
be updated from Mobile Sales and you want to update the target group
without however regenerating the entire allocation and losing the actual
    quantities updated (or sold).

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

If you choose to <ZH>generate</> the allocation, the system will
calculate the planned quantity, and also rank the allocation data if
    appropriate.
The <LS>Update</> function is used to recalculate the existing
allocation on the basis of the new allocation (after it has been
    released).
Use <ZH>Generate</> before the allocation is released, and <ZH>Update</>
after it has been released. If you generate the allocation after it has
been released, this will reset the original values.
