CR174
- Different units of measure: No graphic is displayed ?The SAP error message CR174, which states "Different units of measure: No graphic is displayed," typically occurs in the context of SAP's reporting or graphical display functionalities, particularly when dealing with materials or inventory management. This error indicates that there is a mismatch in the units of measure (UoM) for the data being processed, which prevents the system from generating a graphical representation of the data.
Cause:
- Unit of Measure Mismatch: The most common cause of this error is that the data being analyzed or displayed uses different units of measure. For example, if one dataset is in kilograms and another is in grams, the system cannot display a graphic representation because it cannot reconcile the two different units.
- Configuration Issues: There may be configuration issues in the material master data or in the settings for the specific report or transaction you are using.
- Data Inconsistencies: Inconsistent data entries in the database can also lead to this error, especially if some records are using different units of measure.
Solution:
- Check Units of Measure: Review the units of measure for the materials or data sets involved. Ensure that they are consistent across all relevant records. You can do this by checking the material master data (transaction code MM03) or the relevant report settings.
- Convert Units: If you need to display data with different units, consider converting them to a common unit of measure before generating the report or graphic.
- Adjust Report Settings: If you are using a specific report or transaction, check the settings to ensure that the units of measure are correctly defined and that the report is set to handle multiple units if necessary.
- Data Cleanup: If there are inconsistencies in the data, perform a data cleanup to ensure that all entries are using the same unit of measure.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance on handling units of measure in the context of the report or transaction you are using.
Related Information:
By addressing the unit of measure discrepancies and ensuring consistency in your data, you should be able to resolve the CR174 error and successfully generate the desired graphic representation.
