    Unlike in PI sheets, the following functions are not supported in the
    process manufacturing cockpit:
    The definition of global variables
    The use of digital signatures
    The definition of predecessor relationships

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    As a result of this, you may not use the following characteristics,
    which support the functions mentioned above, when defining the cockpit
    in Customizing:
    PPPI_GLOBAL_VARIABLE
    PPPI_DECLARE_VARIABLE
    PPPI_VARIABLE_TYPE
    PPPI_SIGNATURE_STRATEGY
    PPPI_SIGNATURE_MODE
    PPPI_PREDECESSOR
    However, you used characteristic &V1& in the cockpit definition. The
    cockpit cannot be activated.
