  • What causes this issue?

    The system cannot delete WIP batch &V1& because it is linked to a WIP
    batch for which succeeding WIP batches already exist.
    Hintergrund
    The WIP batch &V1& was copied from another WIP batch. During this
    copying operation, a WIP batch of the same name was created, for which
    succeeding WIP batches were subsequently created.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    System Response

    The system cannot delete the selected WIP batch.

    How to fix this error?

    If you want to delete the WIP batch &V1&, you must first delete all WIP
    batches that were created from the same copy template after this WIP
    batch was created. The sequence can be seen from the where-used list.
