directory itself could not.
The reason is most likely that the converter has switched to this
driectory (or a subdirectory of it) and therefore in locked it for the
operating system.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
You can safely delete these directories as needed.
Contact the manufacturer of the converter about a modification that
makes the converter leave the directory and releases it for deletion.
