The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Enter a unit of measure. If you want to upload the structured product
to an OLTP R/3 System, you are only allowed to use the base unit of
measure of the component product.
Check that you have maintained the base unit of measure for the
component product.

Assign a Unit of Measure:
- For the component that is missing a UoM, you need to specify a valid unit of measure.
- You can do this by selecting the component and entering the appropriate UoM in the relevant field.
Check Material Master:
- Ensure that the material master record for the component has a valid unit of measure defined.
- You can check this by using transaction MM03 (Display Material) and reviewing the Basic Data or Purchasing views.
Save Changes:
- After entering the required UoM, save the BOM to ensure that the changes are applied.
Validation:
- After making the changes, try to execute the action that previously triggered the error to confirm that it has been resolved.
