  • What causes this issue?

    You have assigned the product category an object family which is only
    allowed for product type &V1&. However, the product category has the
    product type &V2&.
    The product category and object family must be assigned to the same
    product type.
    You can only assign an object family to a product category when you
    have maintained a product type for the category.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    You have a number of options:
    Assign a different object family to the product category.
    Change the product type of the product category.
    Change the product type of the object family in Customizing.
