  • What causes this issue?

    Cause of the error
The synchronization check finds out that there is a conflict with
another control system. The error message give the information which
subproject and destination is affected. In the detaild status you also
get the information which destination is affected.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

The check found out that in the system/client where we wanted to
synchronize the destinations already another control system is using the
same subproject name with an active package. You can check this by going
into the affected system/client and calling transaction SE11 or any
other transaction for showing the table entries. Enter the table name
cnvmbtpack and press button 'Display'. Press button 'Contents' in the
application toolbar. Enter the affectd subproject name into field
subproject. Press button 'Execute' or key F8. You will see the active
package of the subproject. If there are two active packages or a package
with system/client data that is different from the affected control
system then we have a conflict.
    Solving the conflict
    Option 1.
The conflict can be solved by creating a new subproject in the control
system where the conflict is shown. The other control system is not
affected because the synchronization from the affected control system
aborted and no destination data were overwritten.
    Option 2.
In the control system where the error occurs you can change the
destination ids. This can be done by pressing button 'SEARCH' in the
registry 'Definition'. Before this you should create the destinations
you need in the transaction SM59. With the search function you can
search for your created destination. Select your destination in the
table with the results and press button 'Use'. The destination id of the
execution target you have selected will be replaced by your destination
id. Do this also with the all destinations used for the affected system.
If all destination ids are replaced do the synchronization. After this
the synchronization status will be changed to green.
