  • Replacing the RFC Destination
You are attemping to replace the RFC destination to the execution
system. Replacing the RFC destination is very critical and needs to be
    done very carefully.
    New Destination with Same Target
You can replace the RFC destination with a new destination if the target
of the new destination is still refering to the same execution system.
The new destination can have different
Technical settings, for example usage of the database server instead of
an application server. Make sure that the target system and client are
still the same after replacing the RFC destination
Login information, for example change of the login language or the login
    user
    New Destination with Different Target
You can replace the RFC destination with a new one refering to another
    system or client only if
the new target client was created as a copy of the current used client
    and
the package execution was on hold during the client copy and
no further activities were made in the original client

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Otherwise changing the target system or the target client of the RFC
destination after loading a package is not supported. Changing the
target may lead to INCONSISTENCIES in the target system and invalidates
    the current package.
If the package was loaded in the wrong target system / client, the
correct process would be to deactivate the package and load a new
package in the correct execution system.
