This error is typically encountered in the context of SAP's Migration Cockpit or during data transfer processes, particularly when using the SAP S/4HANA Migration tools.
Cause:
- No Data in Source Table: The most common cause of this error is that the source table from which data is being migrated is empty or does not contain any records for the specified package.

Solution:
- Check Source Data: Verify that the source table contains data. You can do this by executing a simple SELECT query in the database to confirm that records exist.
- Review Migration Configuration: Ensure that the migration project is correctly configured. Check the mapping and selection criteria to ensure they are set up to include the necessary data.
- Adjust Filters: If filters are applied, review and adjust them to ensure they are not excluding all records.
- Log Analysis: Check the logs for any additional error messages or warnings that might provide more context about why no data is being fetched.
- Test Migration: If possible, run a test migration with a smaller dataset to see if the issue persists. This can help isolate the problem.
