    How to fix this error?

In transaction LTRC, you can view the possible causes of the issue. On
the tabs <ZK>Table Overview</> and <ZK>Data Transfer Monitor</>, you can

Logs</>, you can also view the logs for the initial load and for the
    replication process.
The error messages and logs can provide guidance for resolving the
issue, for example you can check table IUUC_LOG_APPLTAB in the source
system and note the name of the application table and the name of
logging table. Compare this information with the information from the
SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server system; this information

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message CNV_DMC_HC072 - &1 - &2: Logging table &3 in SLT system is not the same as in source (&4) ?

The SAP error message CNV_DMC_HC072 indicates a discrepancy between the logging tables in the SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) system and the source system. This error typically arises during data migration or replication processes when the structures or configurations of the logging tables do not match between the source and target systems.

    Cause:

    1. Schema Mismatch: The logging table structure in the SLT system does not match the structure in the source system. This could be due to changes in the source system that have not been replicated in the SLT configuration.
    2. Configuration Issues: Incorrect or incomplete configuration of the SLT system can lead to mismatches in the logging tables.
    3. Data Model Changes: If there have been changes to the data model in the source system (like adding or removing fields), the SLT system may not have been updated accordingly.
    4. Version Differences: Different versions of the source and SLT systems may lead to discrepancies in the logging tables.

    Solution:

    1. Check Table Structures: Compare the logging table structures in both the SLT and source systems. Ensure that they are identical in terms of fields, data types, and constraints.
    2. Reconfigure SLT: If there are discrepancies, you may need to reconfigure the SLT system to align with the source system. This may involve adjusting the SLT configuration settings or reinitializing the data transfer.
    3. Update SLT: If the source system has been updated (e.g., new fields added), ensure that the SLT system is also updated to reflect these changes.
    4. Check SLT Logs: Review the SLT logs for any additional error messages or warnings that may provide more context on the issue.
    5. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation for specific instructions on how to handle logging table discrepancies in SLT.
    6. Contact SAP Support: If the issue persists after checking configurations and structures, consider reaching out to SAP support for further assistance.

    Related Information:

    • SLT Configuration: Ensure that the SLT configuration is correctly set up to replicate the required tables and fields from the source system.
    • Data Replication Monitoring: Use the SLT monitoring tools to keep track of data replication processes and identify any issues early on.
    • SAP Notes: Check for any relevant SAP Notes that may address known issues or provide patches related to this error message.
    • Documentation: Review the SAP Help Portal for detailed information on SLT and data migration processes.
