Message text: Delete the jobs scheduled for statistics collection (see long text)
You have chosen to de-activate the statistics collection jobs on the
selected system.
When the statistics collection was activated, the following jobs were
scheduled on the system -
1. CNV_CDOP_CA_COLLECT_STAT
2. CNV_CDOP_CA_EVAL_SHORTDUMP.
However, the above jobs are NOT deleted automatically when you
deactivate the statistics collection.
To deactivate the collection of statistics, proceed as follows:
1. Log on to the system you have selected.
2. Go to transaction SM37.
3. In field <ZK>Job Name</>, enter CNV_CDOP_CA_COLLECT_STAT and select
the job statuses <ZK>Active</>, <ZK>Ready</> and <ZK>Released</>.
4. Choose <ZK>Execute</> to see the list of jobs.
5. If you find a job that is currently active, you can either choose to
wait till the job is finished or you can cancel the active job.
6. Repeat the steps 3 to 5 above for the job
CNV_CDOP_CA_EVAL_SHORTDUMP.
Note that as long as the above jobs are not terminated, de-activation
of statistics only has the effect that the statistics information
collected will not be considered in a CDOP Clearing Analysis project.
The statistics collection will continue as long as the above jobs are
active.
Also note that if the above jobs are not deleted, when statistics
collection is re-activated on the system, another set of periodic jobs
will get scheduled. Although this would not cause any errors in the
CDOP Clearing Analysis project there will be an overhead on the system
concerned because of the duplicate jobs.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
