Message class: CNV_20400_CHECK - Messages for check functions (controlling area merge)
Message number: 092
Message text: Template &1 enviroment &2 exists in multiple source controlling areas
The controlling area mapping states, that certain controlling areas will
be merged. Some of these use CO templates (Activity-Based Costing). If
two or more controlling areas are to be merged that use the same
template name in the same environment the templates cannot be
distinguished after the merge. Therefore the templates must be renamed
before merging the controlling areas.
Note that the content of the CO templates will not be converted.
Template &V1& environment &V2& exists in multiple source controlling
areas
Decide which of the source templates you want to rename. Call
transaction CPT1 and create a copy of the templates. Reassign the
objects that use the old template to the copy of the template
(transaction KTPF, KS02, CP02, KEKW, KEI3 - depending on your
customizing). Delete the old template by using transaction CPT1.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
