centers, then the merge is not allowed. However, if mapping values state
that the profit centers will be merged, then the cost centers can be
merged.
If there are postings to the cost centers, then a merge of the profit
centers is required.
If there are no postings to the cost centers, then the cost centers can
be merged; the profit centers do not need to be merged. We recommend
that you engage the services of an SAP consultant to confirm that there
are no postings to the cost centers.
