  • What causes this issue?

    In the mapping, you entered a target controlling area that exists.

    value. To avoid unwanted merges, you have to specify all existing target
    controlling areas as source controlling areas.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    The target controlling area &V1& has to be supplied as an <ZK>Old Value
    </>or be replaced with a not existing target<ZK>.</>
    If you want to merge it with the other source controlling areas you
    provided for the target controlling area you have to enter a new mapping
    line in this format (only possible when using the <ZK>Controlling Area
    Merge</> solution):
    <ZK>Old Value </>= &V1&
    <ZK>New Value</> = &V1&
    <ZK>Prio</> = ' ' (empty)
    If you do not want to merge it with the other source controlling areas
    you have to specify a new name for the existing target or replace it
    with a not existing target. In this case one add a new mapping line in
    this format:
    <ZK>Old Value </>= &V1&
    <ZK>New Value</> = '1234' (the new name of the controlling area)
    <ZK>Prio</> = ' ' (empty)
