Message type: E = Error
Message class: CNV_20100 - Messageclass for chart of account conversion
Message number: 039
Message text: Mapping for &1 -> &2 is inconsistent; see long text
According to your mapping table, you want to change the chart of
accounts name from &V1& to &V2&.
However - according to the given mapping - not all company codes that
use chart of accounts &V1& (as operative chart of accounts,
country-specific chart of accounts or group chart of accounts)
participate in the chart of accounts conversion.
In addition, the <ZK>Copy Rows</> indicator is not set.
The given mapping is inconsistent.
Normally, the reason for this is one of the following:
You forgot to add the company codes that use chart-of-accounts &V1& not
as their operative chart of accounts, but as a country-specific chart of
accounts or group chart of accounts. These company codes would then
participate in the chart of accounts conversion.
You forgot to set the <ZK>Copy Rows</> indicator. If you want to change
the chart of accounts name while not all company codes that use the
chart of accounts participate in the conversion, the <ZK>Copy Rows</>
indicator must be set. Otherwise, the master data of chart of accounts
&V1& would be completely replaced by the master data of &V2&. As a
consequence, it would no longer be available for the non-participating
company codes (which should continue to use chart of accounts &V1& after
the merge). This would amount to destroying the non-participating
company code(s).
Decide if you want to add the missing company codes or to set the
<ZK>Copy Rows</> indicator, and maintain the mapping accordingly.
