CNV_10030105 - Overview

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: CNV_10030 - Message class for package 10030

  • Message number: 105

  • Message text: Delimitation at event 'selection' is not possible for INDX table &2

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

"Prepare Program Generation" was done with the option "Only delimitation
for selection (if possible)" or while the CWB parameter
    DELIMITATION_ONLY (transaction CNV_10030_CWBPARAM) was set. Table &V2&
is converted org.-dependent. However delimitation at the time of the
selection is <ZH>not</> possible. The reason is that the table &V2& is
an INDX table, and INDX tables are converted by package 21500
    <ZH>without</> delimitation for selection.

    System Response

No delimitation at the time of the selection takes place. Delimitation
takes place at field level at the time of the update.

    How to fix this error?

If the option was set exclusively for performance reasons, no action is
required. However if the package &V1& does not allow for delimitation at
the time of the update, the table &V2& must not be processed by package
    21500.
    &HINTS&
Note the delimitation only for selection purposes is possible only if
the found value is not important, that is, if the only purpose is
    delimitation.
