How To Fix CNV_10020481 - Generation of determination program for &1 &2 has failed

SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: CNV_10020 - Message class for package 10020

  • Message number: 481

  • Message text: Generation of determination program for &1 &2 has failed

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Internal generation of the determination program for &V1& &V2& has
    failed.

    How to fix this error?

The most likely reason for the generation error is that the used path
objects were maintained incorrectly. Check these objects and repeat the
    generation.
    &HINTS&
If the determination programs are generated automatically, the programs
are created internally in activity <zk>Load Determination Data</>, but
    not stored in the database.
If you set the package parameter WRITE_PROGRAMS_ON_DB to 'E' in
transaction CNV_10020_PARAM, programs for which errors occurred during
generation are stored in the database so that you can analyze them. You
can delete these programs again using transaction CNV_10020_DELREP.
Alternatively, you can display the determination program for &V1& &V2&
by displaying &V1& &V2& in transaction CNV_10020_OBJECTS and then
running the program generation in test mode for "Fill object tables".
